Terms

Updated 17 October 2026

These terms cover the Vaultite app, Vaultite Cloud and this site. Using any of them means you agree to them. Vaultite is run by Lucas Takayasu.

The app

Vaultite is free and open source under the Apache License 2.0, which is what governs the code: you may use, change and share it under that license.

No warranty

The app, Vaultite Cloud and this site are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, as the Apache License says for the code. They may have bugs, lose data or be down. Keep your own backups of your vault. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using them.

Vaultite Cloud

Vaultite Cloud is free and optional. It relays requests from AI apps you allow to your own computer, at your handle on vaultite.app. Use it for your own Vaultite. Don't use it to:

You're responsible for what your address serves and for the apps you let in.

Suspension and ending

We may suspend or remove a handle that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, without notice when it's urgent. You can stop at any time by deleting your account; a deleted handle isn't given to anyone else. Vaultite Cloud may change or end: we'll say so ahead of time when we can. The app keeps working without it.

Other services

The AI apps you connect, and Google or GitHub when you sign in with them, are their own services under their own terms.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, this page and its date will say so; using Vaultite after that means you accept them. How your data is handled is on the privacy page. Questions: support@vaultite.com. Report abuse: abuse@vaultite.com.
